Delaney is a perfect girl (in her Mom’s eyes), but it doesn’t take long for those who meet her to start thinking the same thing! Delaney is very people centric and affectionate to new people, including new dogs (and cats) she meets. To attest to her sweetness, calm temper, and natural biddability (which her Volhard Test has reflected since puppy hood), last spring Delaney alerted me of an injured baby bunny in our garden. Though I would have never noticed the poor thing myself, because he was tucked in the plants, Delaney was adamant I follow her to the spot. He was in bad shape from what was likely an encounter with a Bird of Prey. We took the little one to a wildlife rehab in Larkspur where he recovered. Of the last 6 dogs I have owned, Delaney easily takes a special place in my heart. Her first litter has been an extra special joy to raise, especially seeing Delaney’s temperament blossom in them as they develop and grow! She was an excellent new mom!
