Opal is a faithful lapdog. Beside me is her favorite place to be! Her housemates (a cat, and three other dogs) are of little concern to Opal. Her #1 priority every day is seeking out my husband or me and making us smile. She loves treats but would abandon a tasty chicken leg if she heard us call her name. This behavior was natural for Opal. While we taught all our dogs basic obedience, including the ‘leave-it’ command, Opal abandons all to be with her people and experience their joy and companionship. She’s not clingy and does well on her own or with the other dogs. She is truly a special girl, so devoted and gentle.
