Rehoming Support from The Doodle is an alternative to surrendering your dog back to the breeder for no refund or reimbursement. An owner can agree to the terms and conditions outlined through The Doodle and take the actions required to rehome the dog themselves, with the added benefit of our Website Tools and Adult Dog Rehoming Interest List. The owner can set their own rehoming fee (not exceeding $800.00 USD). The dog will be listed on The Doodle publicly as an ‘Available Rehoming’ listing. An email update will be sent to our Adult Dog Rehoming Interest Email list every 2 weeks. Owners of the dog will receive applications from prospective adopters to review, contact, and coordinate meetings.
How does it work?
Owners must submit the rehoming support on-boarding form to create a listing. You may be followed up with to provide more content (photos, videos, health documents) or elaborate on issues selected on the Form. Once the listing is approved and set to ‘Public’- all adoption applications will be sent to your email to review, contact, and coordinate meetings.
